Quick Update …

Hey Guys,

Just thought I would update you that my project in Let’s Make Cards is due out beginning of July ’07 🙂
OMG, I can’t believe this, but my project is on the front cover. I am so chuffed about this.

I spoke to Sarah (the Editor) and she gave me the news last week. I still cannot believe it and can’t wait to see the magazine. Only thing is, I won’t be in the country when it comes out 🙁

As you know, if you read the Poker blog, I am in Vegas, hopefully winning at the poker LOL

I will definitely get my friends and family to all buy a copy for me, just in case someone forgets to get one LOL.

To top that, I have been asked to submit some more projects to the magazine for issue 9, so watch this space 🙂

Anyway, will update the blog again soon, take care guys.
Happy Crafting and
Stay Lucky

Vegas … here we come !

Off to Vegas on Wednesday 28th June 07. YAY
I LOVE Vegas, just hope it loves me back this time LOL. Well, I hope I break even at least 🙂 If not, I am sure I will have great fun losing a wad of cash LOL
Raj is playing in the main event and a couple of others before that, but I think I will play a few little tournies in the Venetian. I know that the Rio has a tournie thats quite cheap in the morning, so might try there too. If nothing else, at least I will get a bit of practice, which I definitely need 🙂
Will let you know how we both got on when I get back, and if I can find some time in between, eating, sleeping and playing, I will update the blog from Vegas 😉 But please don’t hold me to it LOL
Stay Lucky guys

GUKPT – Brighton

17th – 20th May 07 was when the Grosvenor (UK) Poker Tour, Brighton Leg took place. I was playing on Thursday 17th May and Raj, my husband, was playing the next day.

All the players that get through on the first 2 days of play go on to the 3rd day and then onto the final day if successful.
Unfortunately, I didn’t get to that stage 🙁

I got knocked out with trip Kings to a Full House on the first day. Nevermind, it was a good experience (thats what I keep telling myself to stop myself crying lol).

Raj, however, did really well. He got through day one and on day 2 he was really low stacked all the way through, the lowest he got was 5K in chips when the average was over 100K!!!

He doubled up a few times, yeh, quite a few times 😆 and got to the final table where he was still low on chips, but manged get third place!!! 🙂 I was so pleased for him, but he had his eye on the trophy so he was quite disappointed.

We are both off to Vegas soon, for the WSOP (World Series of Poker). Raj is playing in the main event, sponsored by Ladbrokes Poker, and I will be watching 😀

Maybe I’ll play a few little tournaments, I’ll update you guys on what happens when I get back in Mid July.

Hope you are all enjoying these blogs, if you are then please leave a comment, and even if you don’t, I would love to know what you would like to hear about.

Anyways, bye for now, Stay Lucky guys,
